Fall is to my taste the best time of the year...

...down around the West River and Chesapeake Bay.  The summer weekend boaters have taken their boats out of the water after Labor Day, and the nights and mornings are cool.  Gradually, the leaves begin to turn, and the spectacle of the leaves of the silver maples turning yellow, orange and scarlet red are not far away.
